Description
This drawing was done fully in Photoshop from the black outlines to the coloring. I'm not sure exactly how long I worked on this, but this drawing is at least 1-2 years old since I started the outline at least a year ago. I'd say at least 8 hours if not more. This character really didn't come from any series I know of; the only influence on this image is Yuna's hair beads (the Yuna from FFX), and even then, I designed the beads myself.
When I first started this drawing, the girl did not have a name. But when I was close to finishing her, I realized her name should be Amber due to the color of her hair. This is one of the few drawings where the subject is actually smiling.
There are things that could be fixed, but overall, I'm very happy with the result.

Ahhh, P6! I saw this drawing and was like "ZOMG I REMEMBER THIS FROM FIFTEEN MILLIONTY YEARS AGO!" XD
It's come a long way from its starting point, and so have you. I like the clean, crisp lines and the details such as the individual whisps of hair and the beads. You can see faint traces of the Nakayoshi style, but you've really made your own style from it (sort of the way that Kim started with the Takahashi and then eventually came up with her own).
The shading on the hair is great, but I think the skin could use more variances in shade (there should be lighter points at the cheeks, chin, and nose to help make the skin look less "flat").
